About Dr. Marysa Ann Kavalec-Heaverlo

Hi, I’m Dr. Marysa Ann Kavalec-Heaverlo, a licensed acupuncturist and a passionate advocate for women’s health and fertility. My journey to becoming a fertility specialist has been deeply personal, shaped by my own experiences, education, and an unwavering dedication to helping others.

A Lifelong Passion for Helping Families

Since I was a child, I’ve felt a deep connection to the miracle of life. Babies have always been my passion, and I knew I wanted to make a difference in the lives of women and families. That dream became clearer after my own journey to motherhood, during which I gave birth to two beautiful children. Like so many women, I’ve also experienced the heartbreak of miscarriage, a loss that deepened my understanding of the physical and emotional challenges so many face on their fertility journey.

Educational Background

To turn my passion into a career, I pursued extensive education in health and wellness. I earned my undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology and Dietetics from Ohio University in 2013. In 2018, I graduated with a Master’s in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College of Oriental Medicine, and in 2021, I completed my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Pacific College.

How It All Began

I started my career in 2013 by helping women with herbal formulas to support their fertility. This work inspired me to pursue formal education in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, where I could offer even more comprehensive care. Over the years, I’ve worked in various settings, from chiropractic clinics to renting my own treatment spaces, and now, I’m proud to run my own practice. I’ve also built a strong social media presence to reach and support women globally.

My approach to fertility and wellness is comprehensive, blending acupuncture, herbal medicine, dietary guidance, meditation, mindset coaching, and energy exercises. Each plan I create is personalized, designed to address the unique needs of every patient. I believe that healing the body, mind, and spirit is essential to creating a fertile and balanced environment for conception.
